Business Support and Governance – Bradford Education and Training

The Business Support and Governance team are in place for the management of various functions, including the Electronic Staff record, reporting figures, estates and facilities within the department and the running of Trust induction. We continuously improve and standardise processes within the department to bring uniformity.

Electronic Staff Record (ESR)

ESR is used by all employees of BTHFT to access payroll information, appraisals, mandatory training compliance and various other functions. The Business Support and Governance team supports the mandatory training side of ESR to enable all employees to use it as a self-service tool for booking onto mandatory training sessions or e-learning packages. We work closely with trainers who deliver mandatory training sessions to ensure we are meeting Trust compliance for core mandatory training. We regularly report and analyse data to be presented to a wide range of stakeholders and quality assurance groups, including the People Academy.

Estates & Facilities

As a team, we manage the estates function of Fieldhouse to ensure our state-of-the-art facilities are sustained and any improvements made. We produce and implement communication strategies to engage with wider organisations to attract learners and regular bookings for use of our facilities.

Trust Induction

We plan and coordinate induction for new starters to the Trust. This includes managing the bookings onto induction and planning the programme for specific staff groups. At induction, staff receive a welcome pack with information that they require and helpful contacts to support new staff into the Trust.
