Opening Hours
The library is staffed Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Outside of these hours you have 24 hour access to the facilities and the Library, IT and Study Space areas can be accessed at any time using your ID badge/Swipe-card.
The library is a quiet working place; conducive for effective study. Please ensure you keep noise levels to a minimum when you are within the library area.

Clinical Evidence Summaries – These resources provide current best evidence summaries. Use these if you require quick access to comprehensive yet concise, evidence based best practice on your chosen topic.

Clinical Key Nursing – A research database that provides access to the full text of journals, textbooks and evidence summaries from the publisher Elsevier.
Clinical Skills – A collection of highly visual , evidence based procedures. Clinical skills has detailed documents to provide you with step by step guidance covering the most commonly used skills in healthcare. There’s a specific separate section for Healthcare Assistants covering all of the core skills required for the role.
Dynamic Health – Nursing information: Detailed information summaries covering topics relevant to nursing. Includes overviews of conditions, tests and lab results, detailed procedure and skills guides.
Royal Marsden Manual – Standard procedures and information from this well known text-book; providing guidance and step by step instructions for most common skills and processes.
